Rsync can generate a wide range of errors, and BackupPC doesn't check for
almost all of them.  It does check the final exit message and status.

I pushed a change
<https://github.com/backuppc/backuppc/commit/f5904a1f40f20fa76f43c23d12dacddba116a8d4>
that now looks for the two common ones you mention: failing to open a
remote file and having a file vanish during the transfer.
