I seen this morning, that backuppc and/or root was trying to login to this machine (my mail is on the server, which is not the best), and failing. I seen where config.pl was trying to login as root (which was the most common thing), and changed it, and it seems to be sending what I think is a reasonable command line. However, the "only" script seems to have a problem with it.
I've worked with Perl regex a long time. I haven't used sed regex much at all. I thought my sed regex was permissive, it might not be as permissive as I thought. It could be something like using 2 spaces instead of 1. I'll keep chipping away at it.
