Good evening to all.
I'm using BackupPc since a few years now and never had such issue.

I updated my Gentoo recently and since it's done i can't write any BackupPC
configuration changes through the CGI, i always get the same message :
*TextFileWrite: Failed to write /etc/BackupPC/pc/myhost.pl.new (errno =
Read-only file system, uids = 1005,1005, gids = 81 81,81 81, umask = 027,
ver = v5.26.2, prog = /usr/sbin/apache2)*

(modified text.pm to see more infos about the write failing)

Apache is running under backuppc user and apache group using mod_perl.

I tried updating BackupPC to latest 4.3.0 version, compiled rsync_bpc,
backup server is working fine but no changes about writing config files.

I don't know why *errno=Read only file system* is mentionned because the
file system where the config files are stored isn't in Read only mode. No
file system is mounted read only at all. backuppc user is able to write
without problem to the directory (when modifying myhost.pl file as
backuppc user using vi i have no problem) and the file system is not full.

Would be glad to get some advice where to look at to solve this problem.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hubert.
