Hi

I'd leave tasks like these to config management.
Not sure if a backuppc "module" exists for all of them, but I am using Puppet 
and can imsgine implementing your requirement via 
https://bitbucket.org/wyrie/puppet-backuppc/ and merging a base yaml config 
with a more-specific one for the nodes.
