Use the schedule tab in the BackupPC config.
For the host(s) that you want to start first, edit the schedule in the per host
config file.  Set those host(s) back-up window to begin however many hour(s)
earlier than your default schedule.

Subject: [Sender Auth Unverified] [BackupPC-users] how might i backup the hosts
in the order i wish?

i want certain hosts done first, so they are more likely finished when things
get busy in the morning.

i could probably forsake the backuppc wakeup procedure and invoke either
BackupPC_dump or _serverMesg from a script.

but with a tidbit of insider knowledge maybe i could let backuppc initiate the
backups and still get the order i want.

might there be a magic poke, tweak, or finagle to set the order?  any clues?
thank you,
greg
