Hello and thanks a lot for the informations Kenneth.

Through the files in /etc/BackupPC and in /var/lib/BackupPC I was able to get backups and configs. Last thing I'd like, if possible, would be having history on backups transfered. I noticed that I'll have to transfer ssh configuration
(~/ssh/ for user doing backups) but I don't know how to get backups
working again smoothly.

Is it possible please and how?

Thanks for any information,

        Johnny

Transfer /etc/BackupPC, /var/lib/BackupPC, and your web server config file (eg. /etc/httpd/conf.d/BackupPC.conf for Apache).

I keep the first two on an external drive mounted on /mnt/BackupXXXX (XXXX is the date of creation), mounted with bind mounts. So it's as easy as plugging in the drive and moving the systemd mount units over.
