In the directory where config.pl lives, there should be a pc/
subdirectory. The per-host config files go in that subdirectory. (Note
that, on debian, pc/ is a symlink back to the same directory, so the
global config.pl and the per-host configs are all in the same place.)
The per-host config files are named [host].pl and don't exist until you
create them, which is why you can't find it.
You should also be able to manage them through the web interface by
using the "Edit Config" sidebar option on the individual host's detail
page, but I've only ever used that to view per-host customizations, not
to change anything, so I don't know if there are any gotchas to watch
out for.

Hi,
As per the doc of BackupPC, it says below
"To disable backups for a client$Conf{BackupsDisable}
be set to two different values in that client's per-PC config.pl file:
1.
Don't do any regular backups on this machine. Manually requested
backups (via the CGI interface) will still occur.
2.
Don't do any backups on this machine. Manually requested backups
(via the CGI interface) will be ignored.
This will still allow the client's old backups to be browsable and
restorable."
Does anyone know where the "per-PC config.pl file" is? I can only
find the file /etc/BackupPC/config.pl, but this file should be a
global config file other than per-PC config file specific to the PC
that will be disabled for backups.
Thanks.
Kind regards,
Chris
