Missing pool files should not generally have anything to do with rysnc memory issues.
- Are you using a very old version of rsync (e.g., < 3.x)? Memory handling was worse in older versions? - How much memory do you have? - How many files are you trying to back up and how large are the files? - When/where in the backup is the rsync error encountered? (share the relevant host backup log) - What version of BackupPC are you using? These are VERY BASIC questions and it's almost impossible to help you if you don't provide such basic information Richard Shaw wrote at about 07:54:19 -0600 on Thursday, November 17, 2022: > On Wed, Nov 16, 2022 at 10:02 PM <mtuckn...@limbo.lol> wrote: > > > I have an issue on my server, causing it to crash with out-of-memory > > errors.
