Hello,

The bacula-commits list was previously unrestricted, but in the last few
months it has begun to being hit by spammers, so I recently made it subscribe
only.

Recently, the three of you who are on the developer's list started committing
either for the first time, or for the first time since I made the list
subscribers only, and either you weren't subscribed or you had subscribed
with your normal email address. As a consequence, your commit emails
(automatically generated during the svn commit) were blocked. To avoid
having them blocked and me having to unblock them, I subscribed you all to
the list, using your Source Forge email address, which is what is required
for the commit. This permits you to do commits without having your commit
emails blocked. You might have been surprised to suddenly receive a
subscribe notification -- well it was me who did it for you :-)

The only problem for some of you is that you are now subscribed to the list
twice. What I recommend, if you have not already done it, is to have your
Source Forge email automatically forwarded to your normal email address.
After doing that, if you have previously subscribed to the bacula-commits
with your normal email address, you can simply unsubscribe it (to avoid
getting two copies of each commit).

It is really quite simple, but a little complicated to explain, so I hope this
is clear. If not, please ask.

Best regards,

Kern
