Yes, the Win64 VSS file daemon is working. We are still in the testing phase.
All the changes to the base code are committed, and we will be committing the
build scripts shortly. Sometime after my vacation (I'm back the 5th of
March), we will be releasing a new beta, which will include the new database
format, and the Win64 FD. The Win64 FD will only be released in the one file
install format, and it will not include the Windows server (DIr or SD). We
are considering whether or not to keep the Win32 release exactly as it is
currently packaged or convert it to the new one file install format -- no
decision is made yet.

Anyone that wants something different will need to do the build from source
themselves.

The Win64 bit FD has an Exchange plugin that is compiled in 64 bits, but I am
not sure it has been tested yet.

There are still a few outstanding bugs (mostly minor as far as I know) on the
Exchange plugin. We hope to fix them before release, which should occur at
the end of March.

It is unlikely that all the new documentation in the New Features section will
be totally integrated into the manual before release. However, we *do* hope
to document all the new features in that chapter. As time permits we are
addubg new feature documentation that is not already integrated back into the
main manual.
