Yes, I guess it is time to do some careful documentation of this.  For some 
reason, particularly the first time you run it on a machine, the various 
panels get all pushed to the bottom of the main pane.  If you look *really* 
closely you will see the faint outline of move handles probably toward the 
bottom of the screen, and if I remember right, it becomes obvious when you 
move the most over them since the cursor becomes parallel lines.  Just seize 
these separation bars and move them to a more reasonable place and you should 
see what is on the screen.

Please let me know if this fixes your problem.
