Thanks for the heads up.  Frustrating. Last time the problem seemed to be just 
an upload glitch, but I checked more carefully this time.  There were 
actually two files corrupted, and in addition, these files are rebuilt each 
time we "recompile" the manual, so something seems to be broken in one of the 
programs we use -- perhaps latex2html ???

I am not sure how to fix this. Perhaps we can pre-generate all the images, and 
even if latex2html rebuilds them, can load this set of images that are known 
to be good.

Now that it has happened two times, and we have a better idea of what is going 
wrong, I'll try to make it more reliable.
