I did have something that worked I think. It could do point-in-time restores etc that you can't do with VSS. It was a completely separate agent though (eg it was itself an fd as far as the director was concerned) and it broke when I started work on the Exchange agent. There is a significant amount of bitrot in the code so a rewrite would be in order. It's on my todo list, but it's behind a lot of other stuff. What is special about SharePoint aside from the SQL database? I thought it was just SQL + a bunch of files?
