As far as I can see from the documentation the following scenario is not possible as a whole right know 1. Storing a maximum of 7 copies on Disk 2. Verify the disk volume against the catalog 3. Copy the latest Backup from Disk to a Tape which has a GFS rotational Poool (Daily, Weekly, Monthly) 4. Verify the contents on Tape against the Catalog. In particular, I see no way to run a Verify Job using the Copy which had been made to tape against the Catalog. Point 1. and 2. is no problem, for 3. I think I can find a workaround. Critical part left ist 4. I do not want to use a Migration Job type, as the primary source for restores should be the copy on disk, which should reside there untouched, so a Copy Job would actually be perfect. And I also do not trust (from bad experiences in the past) a Tape Copy which is not re-read and verified. BTW, is it actually planned that the Fake File Set and Fake Client for Copy Jobs will not be necessary, as it is a little bit obscure to define these fake entries, just for that the config parser does not complain about these, while they are actually not used.
