I am not convinced that any small tweak such as you are suggesting will 
resolve your problems, which is why we implemented a new set of directives.

I believe that these kinds of problems should be "resolved" by appropriate 
implementation of the Duplicate Job Control directives that were added in 
Version 3.0.0.
