Is the DB upgrade part of a larger upgrade script or is it designed to be
called seperately?
The reason I am asking is that I would not want to need to go through
a lengthy upgrade process which fails in the middle. But if I can just modify
the DB upgrade parts accordingly, that's not problem at all.

Cool, thanks. As there is nothing in bugs.bacula.org yet, should I create a
ticket which the dev in question can then take?

I think I would rather add an additional table and merge the data back into
the mainline table once that can be done if I decide not to just go ahead and
add the fields to Job.

Thanks,
