I request clarification. A while back, I understood backup to DVDs to have been deprecated, and that the official recommended technique was to back up to DVD-sized disk volumes and then burn them separately to DVD. On the other hand, it's also been pointed out to me that we still *document* backing up to DVD. The gripping hand is, while the referenced section[1] is there, it's very old, dating from v1.8.x. So, there's some confusion here.
So: *Is* backup directly to DVD officially supported? Or is the recommended procedure still to write DVD-size Bacula disk volumes, then burn them to DVD by other means?
