Yes, there has been quite a bit of reorganization of the git repository. The
Community development is now in Branch-5.1 as you have seen rather than in
master, and as you have noted, we have separated gui out of the "bacula" repo
into its own repo, so you will need to clone gui separately.

There are now:

bacula (bacula, regress)
docs
gui
rescue

Git repositories on Source Forge.

I am sorry not to have sent out a status on this, but since early May (see
some of my previous emails), we have modified how the Bacula project and
Bacula Systems will be working together, and the exact details are not yet
totally determined. This simply means that we are giving quite a lot of
thought to exactly how everything is going to work long term so that we
ensure that all the Bacula project continues progressing and remains totally
Open Source and yet at the same time Bacula Systems can survive in being an
Open Source company.

For the last year or 18 months, 90%+ of all the contributions to the Bacula
community project have come from Bacula Systems, and that is not sustainable
until Bacula Systems becomes much larger and much more profitable, which
means that some changes must occur at least short term.

I believe that we will have everything worked out before the end of July.

Best regards,

Kern
