At
http://www.bacula.org/3.0.x-manuals/en/install/install/Autochanger_Resource.html

found it:

"Label media = yesno
If Yes, permits this device to automatically label blank media
without an explicit operator command. It does so by using an internal
algorithm as defined on the Label FormatLabel record in each Pool
resource. If this is No as by default, Bacula will label tapes only by
specific operator command (label in the Console) or when the tape has
been recycled. The automatic labeling feature is most useful when
writing to disk rather than tape volumes."

Jumping forward to the 5.x manual, that section is missing:

http://www.bacula.org/5.0.x-manuals/en/main/main/Autochanger_Resource.html#12838

It is important to know this appears under the Capabilities section of
the Autochanger documentation, but applies to the Device resource.
Thus, I think it should appear on this page:

http://www.bacula.org/5.0.x-manuals/en/main/main/Storage_Daemon_Configuratio.html#SECTION002030000000000000000

It appears that the Capabilities section was correctly removed from that
page, but the 'Label media' and 'Automatic mount' directives were not
added to Storage_Daemon_Configuratio.html
