Can you explain how you configured Bacula to work on S3? I think that it's 
also possible to use Bacula "normal" file device, but maybe your solution is 
better. We can consider to keep and maintain this code if it handle things 
like S3 in a nice way.

I advise you to keep an old bacula installation or to migrate your volumes to 
normal format.
