Kern, I've just updated to 5.2.1. The Gentoo ebuild files in platforms/gentoo are very obsolete and not really usable. I have created an updated Gentoo app-backup/bacula-5.2.1 ebuild based on the most recent 5.0.3-r3 ebuild, and I'm testing with it right now. This is not an official Gentoo ebuild as I'm not the Bacula maintainer for Gentoo, but it is a starting point. I'm observing some issues. A test backup via bconsole generated large numbers of DB errors reported in bconsole, such as the following: 30-Oct 14:39 babylon4-dir JobId 0: bvfs.c:287 INSERT INTO PathHierarchy (PathId, PPathId) VALUES (210296,210295) 30-Oct 14:39 babylon4-dir JobId 0: Fatal error: bvfs.c:287 bvfs.c:287 insert INSERT INTO PathHierarchy (PathId, PPathId) VALUES (210297,210296) failed: Duplicate entry '210297' for key 'PRIMARY' 30-Oct 14:39 babylon4-dir JobId 0: bvfs.c:287 INSERT INTO PathHierarchy (PathId, PPathId) VALUES (210297,210296) 30-Oct 14:39 babylon4-dir JobId 0: Fatal error: bvfs.c:287 bvfs.c:287 insert INSERT INTO PathHierarchy (PathId, PPathId) VALUES (210298,210295) failed: Duplicate entry '210298' for key 'PRIMARY' Additionally, restore via bconsole works fine, but a restore via BAT using either the new bRestore tab or the previously existing Restore button fails. It just times out forever at tree building and never returns. I've dropped my bacula DB and am rebuilding it with bscan to see whether this solves the problem. -- Phil Stracchino, CDK#2 DoD#299792458 ICBM: 43.5607, -71.355 ala...@caerllewys.net ala...@metrocast.net p...@co.ordinate.org Renaissance Man, Unix ronin, Perl hacker, SQL wrangler, Free Stater It's not the years, it's the mileage. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Get your Android app more play: Bring it to the BlackBerry PlayBook in minutes.
