Hi, Shortly after my first full backup with 4 concurrent jobs on one volume I have learned how slow a restore of 600 GByte can be.
During my internet research of possible solutions (if you have one, please let me know) I found the configuration of Mashdot [1]. He use multiple storage devices in Job Resource separate with comma. I have try to integrate this into my configuration and ran into a error during the start of the second client. I have sent this error to bacula-users lists [2] and asked also if this a supported configuration option. They say no and recommend vgchanger and vtape. During the same time I have wrote Mashdot a mail with my problem and he said that this configuration works in his setup. So I have configured three virtual machines and change only the ip addresses of the provided configuration at [1]. And this works as expected. Two clients can run at the same time use the PrimaryFileDevice and the SecondaryFileDevice as Storage Device and the two volumes go into the FullPool with PrimaryFile as mediatype. Is this a valid configuration or will this works only under certain circumstances correctly?
