Hello, Yes, in my previous answer, I should have specified that I was referring to sqlite3. Sqlite 2 is not supported any more by the author as far as I know.
For a large number of files per server (> 1 million) Sqlite3 is very slow compared to a properly tuned PostgreSQL.
