Hi Wanderlei,

I have run script to update bacula database and re-run this test. But the issue
remains the same.

PFA, the screenshot of Bacula database version.

Hi All,

Thanks for your support!!

Please find my query below regarding memory leaks introduced after addition of
“Jmsg” used in bacula code:

Setup details:
Bacula version: 9.0.6
OS: Centos 7.4

Summary: Jmsg is introducing memory leaks in watchdog.c

Description: Addition of Jmsg in function "check_catalog" introducing Orphaned
buffer (memory leak of 24 bytes) from watchdog.c

1) Added Check_catalog() function existing in file “src/dird/dird.c”

2) Jmsg for INFO is added at line 1164. Please find its attachment as well
as of log file.

3) As per my understanding Jmsg is used to print log in “bacula.log” file.
Therefore I need to use it to print message in log file to add logging to fix
another bug. This is just as example.

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Download latest bacula source code
2) Compile source code with mysql
3) Make source code
4) Add Log message Jmsg in function "check_catalog". Please find code changes
as attached
5) Re-make bacula
6) Restart bacula-dir
7) Execute command: bacula-dir -tc /etc/bacula/bacula-dir.conf

Output:
Please find it as attached

Regards,
Kanika
