Subject: Re: [Bacula-devel] Hung jobs (was Re: Bacula Release 9.6.5) As a next
troubleshooting step, I rolled back to 9.6.3 to confirm thatthe problem is
confined to and internal to Bacula 9.6.5.  All jobs ranperfectly last night
with all daemons (except for one client; see below)running 9.6.3.I'd LIKE to
try re-upgrading the Director and SD one at a time, but I'mnot certain that
would be safe.  My suspicion is that the problem iswithin the Director itself
and unrelated to the SD.  At the very least Iplan to not re-upgrade any
additional clients yet, but I suspect thatthat won't tell me anything new,
given that some of the hung jobs wereon a still-9.4.4 Fedora binary client that
works perfectly with the9.6.3 Director.Are 9.6.3 and 9.6.5 close enough that I
could get away with upgradingJUST the Director to 9.6.5 and leaving the SD on
9.6.3?Kern: It is very likely that this will work, but I do not recommend it in
general.--   Phil Stracchino  Babylon Communications  ph...@caerllewys.net
