Please forgive me for speaking out of line, but the last Bacula .0 releases haven't been as polished as they could have been. Quite some bugs where found by the different distribution developers and integrators, making it necessary for a .1 or .2 release soon after.
I think it would be helpful to put put a RC pre-release, so other people outside of Bacula are able to test the code before committing to a final release.
