Hi Marcin, all,

I can confirm that the mailing list works.

Haven't looked into gitlab as I'm not even sure I have an account there...

Cheers,

Arno

Hi,

When I click on the "New issue" button on this page:

https://gitlab.bacula.org/groups/bacula-community-edition/-/issues

I get a 404: Page not found error for the URL:

https://gitlab.bacula.org/bacula-community-edition/bacula- community/-/issues/new

Also, sometimes the "New issue" button is missing completely.

Hello Martin,

Yes, I confirm it. I see the same - no "New issue" button. Thanks for
finding it.

I am writing about this to amplify "the transmission signal" of this problem :-)

I also couldn't find the "New Issue" button at first. Reloading helps.

Hello Dan,

Thanks for the response and the tip.

In GitLab are two places for reporting new issue:

1) Button with label "New issue in Bacula Community" - This button is visible if we do not choose any project in GitLab. Clicking this causes 404 error.

2) Button with label "New issue" - This button should be visible after selecting the project on the issue list page at the top. I meant this button, that it is missing.

I also get the same 404 error.

Are we raising this issue in the appropriate location?

In my opinion, yes. GitLab is a tool for the Bacula developers and users. Normally these problems could be reported by opening a new issue but in this case this is not possible.

I also note the most recently created issue is two months old. Perhaps this has been broken for a while.

Yes, good point.

I am worrying if these our e-mails in this topic will be delivered to this list, because the bacula-devel list web page shows that no message was delivered today to the list:

https://sourceforge.net/p/bacula/mailman/bacula-devel/

I sent today two different e-mails to this list and they were not displayed on the bacula-devel webpage either.

Best regards,
Marcin Haba (gani)
