Hello,

I have an HP ML330 G3 with Symbios Logic 53c1030 PCI-X Dualchannel SCSI Controller and HP Ultrium 230 LTO 1 tape
running Gentoo Kernel 2.4.28-gentoo-r7 and current portage tree.

The actual stable bacula version in Gentoo is 1.34.4. Don't know why the others are masked.

After installation I run "btape /dev/scsi/host1/bus0/target3/lun0/mt

after a successful normal test I run the fill test and get an error described in bug 0000035.

Can I safely ignore this and go on for production use with it or should I use another version?

I noticed a data rate of about 13807 KB/s while runnig fill test. This looks like a bit under the minimum transfer rate
but maybe it is because of running software RAID5 on the ATA-Raid-Controller (which only can do RAID0/1) :-)

The bacula documentation sound like recommending sqlite while in the gentoo ebuild a comment recommends mysql.
I'm very unsure about which database to use. Bacula should backup two servers and about 10 Workstations.
