Has anyone compiled latest version of Bacula on a Solaris10 (Sparc) box? I've had no problems in the past compiling Bacula on Solaris8 and 9 boxes but the compile is failing under Solaris10. I have mySQL 4.1.1 64-bit version installed. During compile bscan.c is complaining about /usr/local/mysql/lib/libmysqlclient_r.a(libmysymbol.o): wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64; therefore bscan fails to compile. Same problem occurs with linking of dbcheck at which point make fails.
I'm not a C programmer in any way, shape or form but it looks to me like either mySQL packaged up the mySQL Solaris10 64-bit binary with the wrong library (the mySQL install is the latest binary available direct from the mySQL site) or there is soemthing wrong with my configuration. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Regards, Robert ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: New Crystal Reports XI.
