Hello! i'll use english to respond the cuestion, but we can talk in spanish in a private email my company uses a RAID5 disk... 400Gb. A full backup job takes about two days and near 13 tapes (more than 3 million files). An incremental backup only two hours. Make a 400Gb backup in a day with one tape its imposible in time parameters. My solution: slice the backups in two jobs, one per tape, and use incremental backups every nigth Regards! ok, I need to backup a lot of servers on my company. I have a server running bacula-dir and bacula-sd, and on this server i have two DDS-4 tape drives without autochargers. My problem is that i need to backup daily more than 400Gb. I want to use bacula to do this and i did the next aproach to the problem. "Nightly i backup the data to disk (i have no limations with disk space) and in the morning and evening y put this data on tapes changing it manually." ¿is posible to use bcopy to copy de volumes on disk to tape?. I know is possible and it nor present to me to much problems.
