If I've copied a volume from deviceA to deviceB (volume1), and now want to copy newer data from deviceA, how do I purge or overwrite the data on deviceB, volume1?
Before using bcopy I had to create & label volume1 (to avoid getting nasty errors when writing, or later, reading the volume), so the bacula director knows about the volume. However, after I bcopy data to it, bacula director still thinks that the volume is empty. This would not be a problem, except that I know of no way to purge or recycle a volume except through the director. Are there other ways/tools for doing this? -davidc -- True friendship is a plant of slow growth, and must undergo and withstand the shocks of adversity before it is entitled to the appellation. -George Washington (1732-1799) ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Tell us your software development plans!
