Hi all
I've had a really weird issue with my new installation of bacula :(
I realised something was wrong when bacula had backed up over 499GB of data to a single LTO-2 tape and it was still in an append state! I didnt believe this was possible and sure enough when I tried a restore the job timed out and my scsi card experienced a weird error, a brief snippet from /var/log/messages:-
kernel: ahc0: Dumping Card State while idle, at SEQADDR 0x8
There was lots more to this error but to much to paste in.
Has anyone seen this problem before? I thought i had everything set up ok as my tape library passed the multitape btape test with flying colours. My setup is FreeBSD 5.4-Stable with latest ports version of bacula (1.36.2) and my tape library is an Overland Powerloader.
Any ideas would be much appreciated!!
Danny
