It is kinda... What's listed under the Volume column is the tape that the next scheduled job will be written to, or is the tape that is currently loaded in the drive, I do not know. What I was really asking is how does it select which tape to grab next when the current tape gets full. The answer to that question is (as the tape got full and it switched tapes) it will use the next tape in the volumes table or list. I had tape 10 loaded and the next 3 tapes in the table were status "Purged" so the 4 one was tape 5 which it loaded and is currently writing to.
So unless I am wrong, and something else happened, it goes to the next one in the list so to speak... - Thank you, Grant Della Vecchia System Administrator ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A I S M e d i a , I n c . - "We Build eBusinesses" 7000 Central Parkway, Suite 1700 Atlanta, GA 30328 Tel: 770.350.7998 ext. 506 / Fax: 770.350.9409 http://www.aismedia.com / [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by Oracle Space Sweepstakes Want to be the first software developer in space?
