Hello,

I would like to say, that I am very disappointed with bacula. The design is very nice, configuration si simple and clear, management is also good... BUT I would like to get backup from backup file for second time and for the second time I get (from different backup file) checksum error, it means that I can't use bacula, because it is not suitable for production nor normal use, maybe experimental.

Apart from being disappointed you could also try to solve your problem. You see, being in constant development, and being Open Source, you can hardly expect bacula to work flawless in every case. But you can expect the developers and users to try and help you.

Which only works if you ask, of course.

So, in case you really want to use bacula:
- Which version of bacula?
- Which OS?
- And, most important, what are you trying to do?
- Console output? Debug output?

I am sorry about that, but it is not possible to use it, if it cannot give me backup files anyway.

If you simply want something that does what you need but don't want to spend time and effort implementing it you should pay someone to setup a backup system for you.

Hope, you are more lucky with using bacula!

PS: I am. And, to my knowledge, many users, many thousands of computers and probably several petabytes of data are quite satisfied, too.

PS: I use bacula 1.36.(2|3) with PostgreSQL and store files to disk.
