This is most likely a false error because after doing the restore, Bacula checks the byte count it actually restored against what is in the catalog entry. For a raw device, the directory entry does not contain the actual byte count, so Bacula reports an error. I'll take a look at correcting this. To be sure that the restore is working, you probably should make a copy of the raw device, back it up, then restore it, and verify that the two images are the same. > > Any help would be greatly appreciated. > > My configuration is as follows: > Fedora Core 3 > uname -a: > Linux bserver 2.6.11-1.27_FC3 #1 Tue May 17 20:27:37 EDT 2005 i686 i686 > i386 GNU/Linux > > # Fileset for develserver > FileSet { > Name = "A16313" > Include { > Options { > signature = MD5 > } > File = /home > } > Include { > Options { > sparse = yes > signature = MD5 > } > File = /dev/hda1 > } > Exclude { > File = /proc > File = /tmp > File = /.journal > File = /.fsck > } > } > > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > SF.Net email is sponsored by: Discover Easy Linux Migration Strategies > from IBM.
