Please help, it's my first time using bacula and I don't want to use amanda!
------------------------------------------------------------------ I'm getting the following from running btape with the "test" option: btape: btape.c:898 Wrote 1000 blocks of 64412 bytes. btape: btape.c:465 Wrote 1 EOF to /dev/st0 btape: btape.c:914 Wrote 1000 blocks of 64412 bytes. btape: btape.c:465 Wrote 1 EOF to /dev/st0 btape: btape.c:923 Rewind OK. Reposition to file:block 0:4 btape: btape.c:1003 Bad data in record. Expected 5, got 1 at byte 0. Test failed! Why is the number of bytes wrote 100 bytes less than it should? This happens even if I specify mim/max block to a fixed number! ------------------------------------------------------------------ My bacula-sd.conf: Device { Name = StorStation Description = "Sony StorStation SDX-420C" Media Type = OnStream Archive Device = /dev/st0 AutomaticMount = yes; # when device opened, read it AlwaysOpen = yes Offline On Unmount = no Block Positioning = no } ------------------------------------------------------------------ My tapeinfo -f /dev/st0: Product Type: Tape Drive Vendor ID: 'SONY ' Product ID: 'SDX-420C ' Revision: '0104' Attached Changer: No SerialNumber: '0007001175' MinBlock:2 MaxBlock:16777215 SCSI ID: 0 SCSI LUN: 0 Ready: yes BufferedMode: yes Medium Type: Not Loaded Density Code: 0x30 BlockSize: 512 DataCompEnabled: yes DataCompCapable: yes DataDeCompEnabled: yes CompType: 0x3 DeCompType: 0x0 BOP: yes Block Position: 0 ------------------------------------------------------------------ Any help will be greatly apreciated. -- Eduardo Jaime QuirĂ³s Batres - [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Discover Easy Linux Migration Strategies from IBM.
