Nope.

I turned the firewall on briefly, once, as an experiment.  SO much stuff
broke so horribly that I instantly turned it off again and have never
touched it since.

I'll grant it was very effective; nothing could get into the machine.
Unfortunately, nothing could get out, either, and both classes included me.
