You should be able to use apt-get to install the Debian packages, as opposed to downloading .deb files.. To see which bacula packages are available, run: apt-cache search bacula And then use apt-get to install the ones you want.. I use a large raid5 array as well, and it works nicely. The only regret I have is that I didn't use LVM on top of the array, which would have been helpful since that array isn't only being used for backups.
