Sorry. I'm running the development version (very latest from CVS). 'update all volumes from pool[=<pool-name>]' does the same as 'update pool[=<pool-name>]'. The media/volume records are unchanged.
I rwad this as meaning 'the manual describes not what the program does'... which would be worth a bug report, I think.
