The spec files have not yet been updated from version 1.36.3, so until some work is done on them, they are not likely to work -- many things in the source have changed.

Ouch, can anyone help quickly ? I was about to roll out the packages to our servers. Can anyone supply client-packages for bacula 1.37.38 ? I need RHEL2.1, RHEL3, RHEL4 and RH9.

Ouch indeed... now, I never got used to building rpms, but you might consider just building a client on one machine of each lavour and copying he necessary files. This breaks your package database, but as long as you're _really_ sure to know what you do, or, better, you install the rpm when thy are out, this would be ok. For me, at least :-)

As i said the packages compiled without major problems after some tweaking but you are sure they are broken right ? Had some test-systems run backups over the weekend and the director crashed twice already ...

Hmm. Usually the DIR sholdn't crash... but you know that. Any crash reports?

Personally i have no idea about creating spec-files so i`m pretty lost out here ;)

Me too...

Best regards,
