Hi Stephan, i would solve that issue due to network topics build a vpn (like openvpn) between the systems and then let bacula connect to the vpn inside ip's. then the ip's are ever the same for the services. For connecting the outside (dynamic) ip's dyndns usage or somthing like that would help.
but there are also a couple of adsl providers out there, that are able to assign fixed ip addresses and fixed ip networks through ADSL.
