What I have seen on the net is the fact that external DLT-Drives are nearly double priced than internal drives... where I originally was thinking about an internal drive inside a HP proliant-server with 4 SATA-RAID disks in. So the drive would feel like a sandwich in between the hdds and the cdrom.
