I eventually could track down this one. It seems, the new bacula release
handles the spaces in pool names in a different way from previous
versions. Changing the names of the pools not to contain spaces makes
1.38.1 work as expected. I've renamed the pool resource descriptions in
bacula-dir.conf and manually updated the Pools table in the catalog db.
