The exception, which is not very useful for selecting a particulare version of 
a file, is that you can see the size and date stamp when the file is in the 
in-memory directory tree either using wx-console or "dir" in bconsole.  One 
user wrote a Perl program that displays the size/date directly from the 
catalog.
