I am trying to skirt testing of every little config change... can someone tell me what the Client resource `name' entry should look like for this case:
The manual says: "Where the address is a host name, a fully qualified domain name, or a network address in dotted quad notation for a Bacula File server daemon. This directive is required." While helpfull it leaves some oncovered ground. The FD being referenced in this case is a Winxp box running on a home network. I'm not aiming for the whole machine just a test directory on one partition. The daemon installed is named chub-fg Machine is: 192.168.0.2 chub.local.net0 chub Or in smb notation: \\chub The actual file tree is at: \\chub\chub-g\bactest Which can also be cifs mounted as /mnt/chub-g Maybe someone can also advise the best way have bacula contact that machine? ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
