Hello,
I'm experiencing the same problem, but for the fact that the date seems to be 
11 months in the past with respect to the real date.
E.g. if the real date is 21/12/2005 I get a 21/01/2005 mail from my bsmtp.
I use bacula-mysql-1.38.2-1 and RH 9.
