Out of curiosity, why are you unable to upgrade? What is the HW platform?

I've tried to compile bacula-fd (./configure --enabel-client-only) on an

I understand this so that, because of HPUX 10.20 does not have "fork" or
treads, there is no way I can compile bacula-fd on it?

I can use NFS, but it would be niser to run a bacula-fd _on_ the
client :)

Any help is very welcome.
I've worked some on HPUX before, but don't unfortunately have access to
a HPUX box now to try a port.
I've seen some one running bacula on HPUX 11.X (which is treading), but
no one on a 10.20 (the one I have, and can't upgrade).
