May I suggestion some additions to the documentation? I did not found a note regarding this issue in http://www.bacula.org/rel-manual/Getting_Started_with_Bacula.html#SECTION00092000000000000000 or http://www.bacula.org/rel-manual/Configuring_Director.html#PoolResource I think there should be a note to use different LabelFormats when using multiple pools. Possibly Bacula could even warn when two pools are using the same label format without using some sort of variables which will differ between two jobs on different pools. On the other hand, I saw that LabelFormat is deprecated now: "In almost all cases, you should enclose the format specification (part after the equal sign) in double quotes. Please note that this directive is deprecated and is replaced in version 1.37 and greater with a Python script for creating volume names." So I guess it is not possible to apply a heuristic if two pools are using the same LabelFormat... Thank you very much for your help anyway :-) Much better than any commercial support I have seen so far (just try to get a qualified answer on Sunday morning). -- Felix ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by xPML, a groundbreaking scripting language that extends applications into web and mobile media.
