Hi all, I just found the list but have been using Bacula for about 6 months now. Great backup software!! I am having a problem that is frustrating me. This seemed to begin after I upgraded.
When I try to manually purge and recycle a volume I am running into a problem. When I first label a tape I am able to back up several jobs to it. Then the tape becomes used. I then try to "purge" and then "update" the volume status to recycle (this worked before). All seems to go well. Then I run a manually job. After that 1 job completes the volume immediately goes into a "Used" state. It used to sit in an "append" state. This is very frustrating. If I re-label the tape I am able to save to it again.
