Is there any possible way for Bacula to randomize the full backups across the week, or otherwise spread them out?
Like most large facilities, we're backing up a terabytes every night. Trying to juggle which systems get full backups on which day of the week has become almost a full time job. Amanda did a neat scheduling trick of balancing the full backups around, so that the amount of data backed up each night was roughly the same, while also making sure that a full was done in a given time period. Any possible way to do this in Bacula? If not, want to give me pointers to the right code segments? Because we have *LOTS* of data and *VERY LITTLE* care about exactly when the full backups are done. A scheduler like Amandas is going to be crucial for us. -- Jo Rhett senior geek SVcolo : Silicon Valley Colocation Using Tomcat but need to do more? Need to support web services, security?
